On July 12, 2023, the Division of Waste Management’s Underground Storage Tank Section, Mooresville Regional Office, received the Active Remediation Monitoring Report for the above-referenced site. The report has been reviewed
and will remain in the UST Section’s files. Please note that Fate & Transport modeling cannot be used to reduce the risk of this site, as contaminant levels are the reason for the Intermediate Risk Classification, not the proximity of potential receptors. The next groundwater sampling event should be conducted in December 2023, and the Active Remediation Monitoring Report must be received by this office within no later than January 31, 2024.
