The Yard Waste Notification must be submitted by June 1", on an annual basis. Ensure that the Yard Waste Notifications are submitted to the Section by June lst. PURPOSE OF SITE VISIT: Compliance Inspection STATUS OF PAST NOTED VIOLATIONS: None. OBSERVED VIOLATIONS: None. The item(s) listed above were observed by Section staff and require action on behalf of the facility in order to come into or maintain compliance with the Statutes, Rules, and/or other regulatory requirements applicable to this facility. Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules. The access road to the facility is being managed properly at this time. 2. Permanent edge of waste markers were visible from one to the next around the operating area. All operations were confined within the under 2-acre operating area. 3. No unacceptable wastes were identified within the waste stream. Continue to ensure that unacceptable wastes are removed from the waste stream. 4. Tree limbs and branches are chipped on -site. Leaf material is ground by the leaf pickup machine. The chipped debris and ground leaves are stored in separate windrows to break down. The chipped debris and ground leaves are then mixed and used as mulch. 5. Vegetation in the western portion of the operations area was becoming slightly overgrown. The site should be mown as often as necessary to allow for proper inspection. 6. No standing water was identified during the inspection. Continue to ensure that the water is shed from the area. 7. Digital photographs were taken during the inspection.
