STATUS OF PERMIT: Active EXPIRES: 21112026 PURPOSE OF SITE VISIT: Routine Inspection STATUS OF PAST NOTED VIOLATIONS: N/A OBSERVED VIOLATIONS: N/A E:-80.58016' The item(s) listed above were observed by Section staff and require action on behalf of the facility in order to come into or maintain compliance with the Statutes, Rules, and/or other regulatory requirements applicable to this facility. Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules. Page 1 of 2 FACILITY COMPLIANCE INSPECTION REPORT Division of Waste Management Solid Waste Section ADDITIONAL COMMENTS 1) The Spetage Land Application Site consists of Field 1 (2.0 acres) and Field 2 (4.4 acres) for a total of 6.4 usable acres. The site is permitted for land application of domestic septage including portable toilet waste) and grease septage. 2) Required signage was present at the entrance to the site, complying with 15A NCAC 13B .0842(a)(2). 3) All weather roads are maintained as required per 15A NCAC 13B .0842(a)(3). 4) One of the boundary markers separating the fields was not visible at the time of inspection. Please ensure that boundary markers are present and clearly define the boundaries of each field per 15A NCAC 13B .0842(a)(10). 5) Both fields are planted in fescue and bermudagrass. 6) Crop quality was mostly good on both fields with some patchy areas. The Nutrient Management Plan (NMP) requires that ares that develop to have less than 80% groundcover by fescue will be reseeded with tall fescue at a rate of 20 lbs./acre broadcast in late August -early October, or late February -March. At the time of inspection, groundcover of fescue did not appear to be less than 80%. Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns regarding this inspection report.
