Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules. Page 1 of 2 FACILITY COMPLIANCE INSPECTION REPORT Division of Waste Management Solid Waste Section ADDITIONAL COMMENTS 1) This facility consists of two above ground steel tanks with capacities of 6,000 gallons and 9,000 gallons. The tanks are permitted for the storage of domestic and grease septage. 2) 15A NCAC 13B .0838(b): The access road is well maintained for all weather conditions. 3) 15A NCAC 13B .0838(c): No holes or cracks which may allow the escape of septage were observed at the time of inspection. 4) 15A NCAC 13B .0838(e)(2): No vectors were noted at the time of inspection. 5) 15A NCAC 13B .0838(g): No odors were noted during the inspection. 6) 15A NCAC 13B .0838(i): No vegetation was observed within 5-feet of the tanks. 7) 15A NCAC 13B .0838(k): Appropriate signage was noted at the site. 8) 15A NCAC 13B .0838(m): Setback requirements appear to have been met.
