Thank you, Derrick Brown, and Bob Williams for meeting with me on February 17,
1999, to discuss Champion International's 10-Year Solid Waste Plan. Listed below are
the items we agreed needed further addressing or clarification:
(1) A waste reduction goal needs to be established.
(2) A waste management strategy, including plans for waste reduction and waste
disposal for the 10-year period covered by the plan.
I will be looking forward to meeting with you again on April 1, 1999, to review and
discuss Champion's revised Solid Waste Management 10-year plan.
