The Underground StoNorth Carolina Division of Waste Management is conducting an environmental assessment at the referenced property. As part of the assessment, a water sample was collected from the supply well at your home on January 28, 2013. The sample was analyzed for volatile organic compounds, and the laboratory reported that the sample contained 1, 2
dichloroethane at an estimated concentration of 0.32 micrograms per liter (µg/l). The estimated
concentration of 1, 2 dichloroethane reported in the sample is below the 2L water quality Standard for 1, 2 dichloroethane. Your well is identified as WSW-5 on the attached analytical report. The UST Section intends to continue monitoring the water supply wells in the area and the monitoring results will be forwarded to you upon receipt
