Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules. Page 1 of 2 FACILITY COMPLIANCE INSPECTION REPORT Division of Waste Management Solid Waste Section ADDITIONAL COMMENTS 1) This facility consisted of one 4,000-gallon and one 14,000-gallon above ground steel tanks for a total capacity of 18,000 gallons for the storage of domestic septage and grease septage. 2) 15A NCAC 13B .0838(b): An all-weather access road is maintained. 3) 15A NCAC 13B .0838(c): Tanks were not present at the time of the inspection. No septage was noted in the area where the tanks were previously located. 4) 15A NCAC 13B .0838(e)(2) and 15A NCAC 13B .0838(g): No vector or odor issues were noted. 5) 15A NCAC 13B .0838(i): Tanks were not present at the time of the inspection. 6) 15A NCAC 13B .0838(k): No trespassing signs had been removed. 7) The tanks had been removed prior to the inspection and no issues were noted. There is one tank remaining in the area, which Mr. Watts stated he intends to sell. 8) Cease operation paperwork has been received by the division.
