Dear Ms. Drummond:
In response to methane detections in excess of 5% by volume in perimeter methane monitoring well
MMW-3, Greenway Waste Solutions at North Meck, LLC (GWSNM) would like to propose the
installation of two gas probes to further assess the extent of subsurface methane migration in the
vicinity of MMW-3. Gas probe GP-1 and GP-2 will be installed to depth of approximately 15 feet
below ground surface and will be located between MMW-3 and the GWWNM property line as
depicted on Figure 1. Following gas probe installation, GWSNM proposes to initiate monthly
monitoring of MMW-3, GP-1, and GP-2 for a period of six months to include the September 2023
and December 2023 quarterly methane monitoring events for data evaluation. With your approval,
we will proceed with gas probe installation on July 20. Should you have any questions or require
