PCB Landfill Monthly Inspection
The PCB Landfill Monthly Report for the May inspection is enclosed for your
review. The landfill continues to be in good condition.
Water and leachate levels were measured at their respective locations. The
leachate sump was pumped and samples were collected for pH and specific
conductance measurements
The first required semi-annual sampling event for 1998 was done May 18 and 19 .
A select group of monitoring wells and all surface water and sediment locations
were sampled for the presence of PCBs. The_ analyses will be done by the State
Laboratory of Public Health.·
