Re: Pipe Repair
The effluent discharge pipe located between the charcoal filter of the treatment works system and
the leachate pond has been repaired. The pipe had been damaged by mowing operations. Three
broken sections were joined with PVC couplings and pipe cement. The same method of
connecting pipe sections was used when the system was initially installed.
