As you may know, ECO LOGIC is one of two companies under consideration by the North Carolina
Department of the Environment, Health and Natural Resources to help remediate the Warren County
Landfill. We fully understand the selection process has not yet been completed. However, we feel it
important that any company being considered to perform such an important task involve the community as
early as possible in the cleai1-up process.
With that in mind, we are planning a Community Open House in the Warrenton area in the very near future.
Guild, Incorporated, an environmental communications company from the Washington, DC area, is working
with us to facilitate the meeting. This open house will introduce our unique clean-up process and
demonstrate how it could be applied at the Warren County Landfill. It will also give our company a clearer
understanding of the concerns of the community and local and state leaders relative to this issue. Your
presence and valuable input at the Open House would be greatly appreciated.
Tentatively, the meeting will be at the South Warren County Elementary School in Afton, NC, on
October 2, 1997, from noon until 9:00 pm. A media package will be released confirming the date and time
