Can PCB be absorbed into the air? Can you sell tobacco which has absorbed -w+th-PCB? Can you sell hogs which have absorbed PCB? How long does PCB last?OHow long will the State monitor the dump? What will the State do when it starts to leak? Since PCB last practically fovever, and since it is impossible to keep any soil completely dry, isn't it true that this dump will leak, even if it is at a slow rate? How deep will the PCB be buried and how high has the ground water ever come on the proposed dump site? Can PCB move uphill even in a stream or in the ground water? For example: could it ever get into Vance County? How close is the dump site to the nearest creek? ?,.oot> ~ -;-10. · Is the State asking the Environmental Protection Agency to waive any_o~afety requirements as it did in Chatham County where fivt:~ were requested? 11. r»1 @ Most dump trucks spill a little of whatever they carry. Will the State use special trucks to keep PCB from being spilled all over Warren County? The State says there will be 4,000 to 8,000 truck loads? Is is true the State is using the proposed PCB dump to attract an Alabama chemical industry to Warren County. What will happen if there were an earthquate/, plane crash, or other disaster at the site? 19,YrA How is PCB stored in Alabama and in New York, and what has been the effect on land value there? 20.
