SUBJECT: Investigation _for Disposal Site for the PCB (W.O. 4.5401101)
Attached are boring logs and sketch of a site we have investigated for
PCB disposal in Chatham County.
The site was drilled and sampled to a depth ranging from 14 to 34 feet.
Thirteen (13) samples were delivered to the Department o.f Transportation
Laboratory to be tested for: Minus 200 Material, Plastic Index, Liquid Limit
and pH values.

NOTE -The above terminology was used in describing materials on the attached
boring logs.
Ground water occurs in thin seams between jointing and bedding planes
of the Triassic sediments. The weathered rock above and below these
seams was dry.
