Contracted site preparation
Ar~ifidal liner
Leachate collection
Rul -off pond
Monitor wells
Security fencing
Leachate monitoring and treatment for 10 years
Cost estimated -$1,575,000*
*l. State of North Carolina to provide site (5 acres) and access road.
2. Estimate reduced by 15 percent if artificial liner not provided.
3. Representatives could be in state August 18, 1978, to firm up estimates.
SCA Services of Pinewood, South Carolina provided a quote of $60.00/ton for
disposal of PCB contaminated waste delivered to their site. Haul cost not
included. Seaboard Coastline Railroad quotes $7.77/ton haul rate from Raleigh
to Pinewood, South Carolina.
