Dear Ms. Lepard,

I am reaching to introduce myself and to give you an update on the remediation system being
operated by Speedway at the Burlington site located at 653 E. Webb St. Beginning July 1, 2022, the
management of this site was transitioned from Mid-Atlantic Associates (MAA) to AECOM. Jim Young
of MAA gave us a tour of the remediation system and provided useful information for a smooth
transition. At our first visit on Tuesday, July 5th, our technician found the system inoperative due to
a malfunctioning high level float. We have shut the system off until we can receive a replacement
part. The current estimate from our supplier is a 1-2 week lead time.
