Kim,

I contacted Liz Price about the spill bucket site check for the referenced facility at which semi-annual groundwater
monitoring is proceeding. The enclosed attachment reveals that significant soil contamination has been documented in
the regular gasoline spill bucket areas since 2012-2014, along with documented groundwater contamination originating
from the UST basin area. In other regions with similar circumstances, CAB has directed me to continue periodic
groundwater monitoring to include analyses of oxygenates which are associated with current alcohol blended gasoline
mixtures. A monitoring event needs to be conducted before year end, so Liz Price agrees that additional groundwater
data will be more indicative of release contribution from the spill buckets than soil analyses in areas documented to be
contaminated since at least 2012.

I will copy you on my ePATA request and subsequent approval for a groundwater monitoring event which can serve as a
more pertinent sith check.
