I went back and looked through the Guidelines and it does appear that a closure report will be needed for the UST that was removed. For the Non-regulated commercial USTs, such as large heating oil USTs, closure sampling /reporting is not required unless there is evidence of a release. In this case we have a documented release, so we do need to follow the IAA requirements and collect the groundwater sample. If below 2L, sounds like maybe we can close it out pretty quickly. If above, a receptor survey/LSA will be needed. I am assuming this will be similar to Craven Terrace with a likely Low Risk Classification. If above 2L, a NRP will be required. I talked it over with Sylvia and she agrees. Sorry I spoke too soon. We don’t get these very often. I should have referred to the Guidelines before answering. Hi Carrie- I’m assuming that you will not need any kind of report for the Trent Court USTs, since they are non- regulated tanks, but if you can confirm this for me, I would appreciate it.
