A review of the Transfer Station Cost Estimate for 9215T-TRANSFER-1994, kmertens@wm.com submitted on 7/6/2022
has been completed. The estimate meets the site -specific operations and appears to be appropriate. The Division of
Waste Management - Solid Waste Section has reviewed and approved the provided cost estimate required for
establishing financial assurance for a transfer station.
Initial Review Comments: 20220712 - There was a discrepancy in the provided itemized cost in the form (totaling
$40191.00) and third party total ($44,413.00). The Section revised the itemized cost on the form to represent the
attached third party cost of $44,413.00
Permitting Engineer Review Comments: 20230602 - No concerns, match estimate in submitted plan.
This approval letter is for your use in establishing an appropriate financial assurance mechanism. The below are the
provided legal entity, facility name via onsite signage, assigned permit number, and approved cost estimate in 2022-year
dollars.
