(Formerly The Pantry), ATC Associates of North Carolina, P.C. (ATC) has prepared this letter report to provide a summary of the recent groundwater sampling event performed at the facility. A site vicinity map is provided as Figure 1 and a site map is provided as Figure 2. Groundwater Sampling On October 18, 2021, ATC collected a static water level measurements from monitoring wells MW-1, MW-2, MW-3, MW-5, MW-6, and DW-1. Light non-aqueous phase liquid (LNAPL) was measured in the monitoring well MW-3 at a thickness of 1.58 feet on this date. The depth to water measurements were collected using an electronic oil/water interface probe. A summary of groundwater elevation data is provided in Table 1. A groundwater elevation contour map is provided as Figure 3. It appears groundwater flow in a north-northwestern direction across the site. On October 18, 2021, groundwater samples were collected from monitoring wells MW-1, MW-2, MW-5, MW-6, and DW-1, following standard sampling protocols. The groundwater samples were collected into laboratory-approved containers, packed in ice, and delivered under chain-of-custody to SGS North America, Inc. (SGS) in Scott, Louisiana, for analyses. The groundwater samples collected from the monitoring wells were analyzed by Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Method 6200B. Select natural attenuation measurements are provided in Table 2. November 4,2021 Page 2 of 2tllvlR0lltiltlllll-' It0TtIHfi lelt SUlt0rtG sctEilcis ' iurtnrALs rtsltfl6 Laboratory analy.tical results detected a dissolved benzene concentration equal to its established 2B x l0 Surface Water Standard in the groundwater sample collected from monitoring well MW-I. LNAPL was detected in monitoring well MW-3. Other dissolved target compound concentrations were detected in the other wells sampled; however, the concentrations were below the established 28 x 10 Surface Water Standards. A summary of the groundwater analytical data is provided in Table J. Dissolved contaminants of concern are provided on Figure 4. A copy of the laboratory analytical report is included as Attachmenl I. If you have any questions or require additional information, please contact our office at (91 9) 871 -0999.
