ACV Enviro was contracted by Belfor Environmental to clean up a fuel oil spill in Asheville, NC at
Battery Park Senior Apartments, 1 Battle Square, Asheville, NC 28801. Upon arrival at the site we
were notified that approximately 15 gallons of oil had been spilled while pumping into an AST in the
basement of the property. The property manager had attempted to clean up the spill and disposed of
some oily absorbent in a Republic Solid Waste dumpster prior to our arrival. We generated 8 x 55
gallon drums of spill debris. We are working on arranging for disposal. Below is the timeline of
events.

Initial Crew arrived at approximately 2000 on 17 Sept. Used clay absorbent to absorb oil on the
floor.
Clean Up Crew arrived 0730 on 18 Sept. Work that day consisted of vacuuming sand and
absorbent, and deconning the area in the basement that was contaminated and removing oily
debris from outside dumpster.
8 drums of Spill Debris were generated.
Left site at 1530 on 18 Sept.
