OBSERVED VIOLATIONS: None
The item(s) listed above were observed by Section staff and require action on behalf of the facility in order to come into or maintain compliance with the Statutes, Rules, and/or other regulatory requirements applicable to this facility. Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: 01 - This inspection was conducted to evaluate the non-compliance issues noted on the last inspection that was conducted on April 05, 2023. 02 - All the old vegetative waste (but a small amount) has been mulched and removed. Some new waste has been
brought in.
03 - Fire lanes will be constructed as windrows are completed. 04 - All waste is inside of the Edge of Waste markers.

05 - The facility has a locking gate and signage at the entrance. 06 - Signage is posted at the gate also.
07 -This facility is not open to the public. 08 - Keeping a source available to receive the processed mulch is a must. 09 - REMEMBER: These Notified Yard Waste Facilities can only have 6000 cubic yards (un-processed and processed combined) of material on-site at any given time. 10 - A contractor is going to rake and grade the area to ensure proper drainage can be achieved. 11 - Please educate the drivers about no other trash should be thrown out onto this facility, ie: plastic and glass bottles. Nothing but vegetative waste is allowed on this site. 12 - With the new management and proper operation of this facility, compliance can always be met.
