RE: Monitoring Report Williams Grocery Hamptonville, North Carolina Incident #15063
Dear Mr. Hemric: As we discussed, enclosed please find a report summarizing the data obtained during completion of a mobile multiphase extraction (MMPE) event at the referenced site. The
MMPE event was conducted at the site during August 2004. In addition to conducting the MMPE event, groundwater samples were collected from the monitoring wells at the site on March 2, 2004. Review of information obtained during the MMPE event and groundwater sampling activities indicates that the contaminant levels have been reduced. However, additional remediation and groundwater monitoring will be required before the
site can be considered for closure. Groundwater samples will be collected from the monitoring and water supply wells within the next 45 days to track the progress of site remediation. If you have any questions, please contact me at [phone].
