The North Carolina Division of Waste Management is conducting an assessment at the former subject property. As part of the assessment, a water sample was collected from the supply well located at the property on September 23, 2015 for analysis of volatile organic compounds. The laboratory reported the presence of methyl-tert-butyl-ether in
the sample at a concentration of 2.8 micrograms per liter. Based on a health risk evaluation completed on the test results, no restrictions on the use of the water are recommend at this time. A copy of the HRE is along with the analytical report are attached for your records.
