This site is part of the larger Carolina Beach Property that is being actively remediated under an Inactive Hazardous Sites Corrective Action Plan, NONCD0001697. Based on this information, the UST Section finds it appropriate to classify the risk of the former discharge or release as low and that no further action is warranted for this incident as any remaining assessment or remedial actions will be handled under the approved Inactive Hazardous Sites Corrective Action Plan. This determination shall apply unless the UST Section later determines that the discharge or release poses an unacceptable risk or a potentially unacceptable risk to human health or the environment.
