I assume it would be safe to say the solid waste permit should be changed to Blue Ridge Paper Products, LLC, a wholly
owned subsidiary of Pactiv Evergreen Inc.

Is it possible to revise the funded trust agreement with First Citizens Bank Trust Services to update the legal entity to
Blue Ridge Paper Products, LLC?
• 1 will be meeting with some of our financial folks today to discuss the funded trust agreement and some of the
other financial assurance mechanisms that are available under NCDEQ's regulations and the CFR. I don't see a
problem updating the legal entity associated with the funded trust and will raise the matter with them today,
but I note that we may want to look at an alternative mechanism moving forward. In any case, agreed that the
FA instrument should be tied to Blue Ridge Paper Products LLC.
I think Charlie Howell is the best contact for the landfill moving forward. Allan has his contact information, which I have
also attached. However, feel free to reach out to me any time, particularly as we are working through this
transition. Once we get through the transition and into a more steady state operation, Charlie (who will remain at the
mill) will be NCDEQ's best contact.

The Section's current permit is to Evergreen Packaging New Zealand Limited, Evergreen Packaging Inc., and Blue
Ridge Paper Products, Inc., D/B/A Evergreen Packaging. I assume it would be safe to say the solid waste permit
should be changed to Blue Ridge Paper Products, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Pactiv Evergreen Inc.
The funded trust for Financial Assurance is held by Blue Ridge Paper Products, Inc.. Is it possible to revise the
