The PCB Landfill Monthly Inspection

The Monthly Inspection of the PCB Landfill for July did not show
any significant problems at the landfill. It appeared that the
Department of Transportation had spread more gravel along the
entrance road. Also, repairs had been made to the main gate of the
landfill. The landfill facility appears to be in generally good
condition at this time.
Mr. Tommy Cline of the Department of Administration accompanied
me on this month's inspection of the landfill. We discussed the need
to fence in the leachate lagoon and the need for an operating budget
to provide funds for ongoing operation, maintenance, and sampling at
the PCB Landfill.
