Dear Mr. Babuin,
Thank you for your recent assurance that there has been a
ccntinuing monitoring program at the Warren County PCB
Landfill site. I am happy to hear that all monitoring up
to the present time has given no evidence of any leakage
or other problems from the landfill.
Please provide me with written information regarding current
procedures related to on-going monitoring and maintenance
of the landfill, names of those responsible for such activi-
ties and an assurance that we will receive regular reports
on the findings of all monitoring activities.
We appreciate your cooperation in these matters. Please
feel free to inform me if there are ways you feel our
department can be of assistance in any matter relating to
the landfill. We are interested in assuring that the land-
fill does not pose any health risk to our citizens. We
also want to protect our citizens from any unreasonable
fear regarding the PCB site.
Thank you for your efforts to protect the health of our
citizens through protection of groundwater.
