Monthly inspections of the PCB landfill were conducted on January 12 and
February 18. Enclosed are copies of those reports.
Also enclosed are test results of wate~ samples taken from the upper
leachate collection system. As indicated, the influent sample into the
filtration system contained less than 1 part per billion PCB.·

PCB Landfill Monthly Inspection, January and February , 1985
Attached are copies of the PCB Landfill Monthly Inspection Reports f or
January and Februar y , 1985 . Please note that samples wer e not obtained in
January because the pump would not function. The January report was
delayed in hopes of getting a sample later that month. The February
report shows that an influent sample was taken and analyses indicate less
·, than 0.1 ppb PCB. However, there was no flow from the effluent pipe
from which to receive a sample. Please note the problem indicated on
February 's monthly report.
