The North Carolina Department of Administration PCB Task Force
has been charged with the responsibility to develop a PCB management
plan for state-owned PCB items. The task force has utilized a PCB
Control Handling and Disposal Guideline developed by CP & Las a
model for the State Plan. A copy of the draft State Plan is enclosed.
Since the draft State Plan is modeled after the CP -& L plan, it
would be appreciated if CP & L would review the State Draft Plan and
state any objections that CP & L may have if the state publishes the
draft for use by state institutions.
The PCB Task Force would assume responsibility for all contents
of the Draft North Carolina PCB Control, Handling, and Disposal Guide-
lines.
