Attached is a draft of guidelines which should be followed by all state
agencies and institutions in the event of a PCB spill. It is absolutely
essential that appropriate personnel at each st ate institution, and those
re~ponsible for agency-owned and operated buildings be informed and
knowledgeable as to procedures and precautions to take in the event of
a PCB spill. These guidelines have been developed by a PCB Task Force,
and are being issued as interim gui delines . Review and comment is
requested, and should be forwarded t o t his office for consideration
by the Task Force.
