Clark, Secretary EP 15 Re: Warren County PCB Landfill Dear Secretary Roberson: As part of the Cooperative Agreement signed May 25, 1982 with the United States Environmental Protection Agency, it was agreed that the State of North Carolina would be responsible for maintaining in good working order the access road, fence, and gate at this landfill. It was further agreed that the state would establish and maintain a vegetation cover over the top of the landfill. Since the Division of Highways within your Department is best-suited both by expertise and availability of manpower and equipment to perform these functions, it is requested that this division be designated to carry out these tasks as previously agreed upon.
