Final Inspection
A final inspection conference for the above project was held at the site
in Warren County, at 10:00 a.m., July 15, 1983. In attendance were:
Bill Phillips -NC Department of Crime Control & Public Safety
Russ Edmonston -NC Department of Crime Control & Public Safety
Bill Rosser -NC Department of Transportation
Bryant Haskins -NC Department of Human Resources
Tom Karnosk -NC Depar~ment of Human Resources
T. N. Wilson -NC Department of Administration
Carl Rudisill -Jim Lineberger Grading & Paving
F. B. Rainey -Sverdrup & Parcel
A tour of the facility by the above group was made to review the
recently completed construction.
Two items were noted which must be done by the contractor to fully
complete the requirements of the contract and are listed as follows:
1. The Keeper pin has not been installed on the double swing 12 ft.
gate in the landfill fence. This pin must be connected to the
locking mechanism to properly secure the gate.
2. The holes cut in the walls of the temporary pump shed were very
rough and could be a hazard to employees. This also could cut the
pump hoses during pumping operations. These openings must be fixed
to eliminate the sharp edges.
The above items are to be completed by the contractor early next week.
The keys for the locks on the gates at the landfill and observation
wells were turned over to Mr. Phillips by the contractor prior to
departure from the site.
