PUMP NO. 1
Pump No. 1 shall be Homelite Model 111DP2-l complete with 3HP, 4
cycle gasoline engine or approved equal. Pump must be positive
displacement type capable of pumping a minimum of 5 gallons per minute
at a suction lift of 25 feet. Suction and discfuarge shall be two inch.
Pump shall be connected to suction and discharge lines to allow for
vibration during pumping. Pump shall be securely bolted to the pump
house floor to prevent movement.
PUMP NO. 2
Pump No. 2 shall be Homelite Model XLS2-1A complete with 2-cycle
gasoline engine or approved equal. Pump must be centrifugal type
capable of pumping a minimum of 55 gallons per minute at 50 psi.
Suction and discharge shall be two inch. Furnish 15 feet of suction
hose complete with end strainer. Pump shall be connected to the
sprinkler supply line with a flexible type connection to allow for pump
movement during start-up and vibration during pumping operations.
PUMP HOUSE
Pump house shall be a prefabricated metal or wood building 8 feet
long, six feet wide with a minimum door width opening of four feet.
This building shall be supported on concrete blocks and have a wooden
floor which is heavy enough to carry the weight of the pumps and
operating personnel. The building shall be anchored to the ground to
avoid overturning by the wind, but care shall be taken not to damage the
underground PVC liner when placing anchors.
