Since that time, additional laboratory analysis has been completed on previous samples and additional sampling has been done. This would eliminate truck tires packing down the dirt. 8 -Add water to scarified area several times over a given time period rather than having multiple water trucks one immediately following the other. Sample and analysis data for employee exposures to PGB are attached. Exposure levels less than 1 ug/m3 indicate that work practices are being used to minimize health hazards to employees. A good overall job is being accomplished by DOT personnel. Continued carefulness on everyone's part will assure that there is a minimal health risk to all persons associated with moving the dirt with PCB contamination. I will continue to visit additional pick-up sites and the landfill during the next several weeks.
