As requested by Sverdrup & Parcel AssQciates, undisturbed
samples were taken of the in-place clay liner at ~he subject project for
permeability testing. Five (5) laboratory permea~i1ity tests were
performed on representative samples taken at the 11ocations indicated on
the attached tabu1 ati on of test results. Fa 11 i ng \head permeabi1 ity tests
were performed in accordance with procedures out1 ~·ned in the Corps of
Engineers Engineering Manual 1110-2-1906, Appendi VII. The tests
reveal that the in-sitg clay liner material hasp rmeabi1ity values
ranging from 3.0 x 10-to 1.0 x 10-7 cm/sec. See attached Tabulation
of Falling Head Permeability test results.
