Liner repairs
Gentlemen:
An August 25th and 26th we repaired the 30 mil PVC liner at
the referenced job site in Warren County, N.C. The damage con-
sisted of 23 cuts, averaging about 65 to 70 Ft. long, running
from the top to the bottom of the side slopes on the East, West,
and North sides of the pit.
Repairs were made by overlaying the damaged 'areas with panels
of 30 mil PVC and sealing the panels to the base sheet. In
all cases, the panels were of sufficient size to extend at
least 4" beyond the cut, permitting us to make seams at least
4" wide, as per specificatic:ms.
You can be assured that the condition of the liner is now as
good as it was prior to the vandalism and no permanent damage
was inflicted.
A certification of the 30 mil PVC material used for repairs
will be forthcoming from STAFF INDUSTRIES, INC.

report for August; a copy of the letter from Mr. Richard Kutsch of ARK.AY
to this office, detailing repair procedures for the slits in the 30-mil
PVC liner.
