I wish to coordinate with ym1 the submittal of background monitoring data and
clay line r permeability measurements to EPA Region IV to s a t i sfy th~ir approval
conditions for the disposa l of PCB cont~mina t ed soil. The background monitoring
data should b e available by September 8. I will deliver this directly to you.
The clay liner permeability data should be available by September 10. I am
assuming that Sverdrup & Parcel will submit this informa tion directly to you.
Unde r no circumstances should contaminated soil b e allowed into the landfill
until you have written acknowle dgement of the receipt of the aforement ione d
information by EPA and their final approval to commence landf illing activities.
