Dear Dr. Levine:
As you are aware, the State has received a grant from the U.S. Environmental
Protection Agency for "The construction of a PCB landfill and the cleanup of PCB
contaminated soil along North Carolina roadsites using CERCLA or "Super Funds."
This grant has been awarded to this Department even though your Agency will
actually be incurring expenditures for a portion of this project. Therefore, you
should submit a monthly invoice to the:
Controller's Office
Attn: Jack Reavis
Dept. of Crime Control & Public Safety
by the 20th of each month for expenditures incurred from the previous month so that
your agency can be reimbursed . The invoice should be broken down into the following
major categories f or each activity:
Personnel
Benefits
Travel
Equipment
Supplies
Contractua l
Other
Total
Please do not submit any documentation to this Department, but be sure to
retain it for future audit purposes.
