No violations observed.
The item(s) listed above were observed by Section staff and require action on behalf of the facility in order to come into
or maintain compliance with the Statutes, Rules, and/or other regulatory requirements applicable to this facility. Be
advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each
violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the
N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions
including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and
any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act
and Rules.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:
1. The Liquid Environmental Solutions facility is permitted for detention and treatment of grease trap waste as
described in approved application outline. Only those septage management firms permitted to operate in
North Carolina are authorized to discharge at the facility. Observed recordkeeping for trucks discharging at
facility. Volume and source of waste was recorded.
2. The facility must be maintained and operated in a manner to protect both surface water and groundwater.
No liquids or solids from the facility were observed in runoff. The facility shall be maintained in a manner
to prevent leaks and spills.
3. The facility shall be maintained in a manner to effectively control odors. Minimal odors were detected on
site. No odor was detected off site of the location.
4. The facility shall be maintained in a manner to minimize attraction or admittance of vectors. No vector
presence was observed.
5. Observed storage tanks on site appeared structurally sound.
6. The facility has permit to discharge wastewater issued by Charlotte -Mecklenburg Utility Department.
Wastewater appeared to discharge properly to municipal wastewater system.
7. Dewatered trash solids and other facility MSW is collected and hauled to proper disposal site. The waste
hauler is permitted by Mecklenburg County per the County Solid Waste Ordinance.
8. The facility is secured by a fence surrounding the facility, and access is controlled by gates which may be
Locked.
