PURPOSE OF SITE VISIT: Routine
STATUS OF PAST NOTED VIOLATIONS: During the last inspection, the required 5-foot buffer around the tanks was overgrown in violation of 15A
NCAC 13B .0838.
Work was in progress to clear vegetation and debris from around tank. Was well improved.
OBSERVED VIOLATIONS:

The item(s) listed above were observed by Section staff and require action on behalf of the facility in order to come into or maintain compliance with the Statutes, Rules, and/or other regulatory requirements applicable to this facility. Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
1. An appropriate No Trespassing sign was not seen. Access roads or paths crossing or leading to the
facility shall be posted with "NO TRESPASSING" signs.
2. The tanks were accessible, the required five-foot margin around the tanks was overgrown with brush
and vegetation. Work has been done to clear area of debris and vegetation. Additional work is
needed. All sides of the tank need to be visible. Cleared area should extend out 5 feet from tank.
3. The visible parts of the tanks appeared structurally sound.
4. Septage transferals appear to have been made in a safe and sanitary manner.
5. No vectors or objectional odors were noticed.
6. Approved setbacks appear to be met
7. The access road was passable.
