Dear Mr. Shah: On February 8, 2023, the Division of Waste Management’s Underground Storage Tank Section, Mooresville
Regional Office, received the Groundwater Monitoring Report for the above-referenced site. This information has been reviewed and will remain in the UST Section’s files. Upon review, the Division has determined that you must conduct an Mobile Multi Phase Extraction Event utilizing monitoring wells MW-2, MW-3, MW-15, and MW-16. In addition,
additional wells must be installed south-southwest of monitoring wells MW-12 and MW-13 in order to complete delineation of the dissolved phase hydrocarbon plume. This information must be submitted to this office in a Groundwater Monitoring Report no later than May 15, 2023. In addition, groundwater samples must be collected from water supply wells 1, 2, 4, and 5 on a quarterly basis beginning in April 2023. The water supply well sampling results must be received by this office within 30 days of sample collection.
