Dear Mr. Barrick: On January 13, 2021, the Division of Waste Management’s Underground Storage Tank Section,
Mooresville Regional Office, received your correspondence regarding the implementation of corrective action for the above-referenced incident. This information has been reviewed and will remain in the UST Section’s files. Upon review, the Division agrees with Duke Energy’s proposed timeline for implementation of remediation. The
next sampling event should be conducted January 2021, with the Groundwater Monitoring Report received no later than February 28, 2021.
