On February 10, 2023, the Division of Waste Management’s Underground Storage Tank Section, Mooresville Regional Office, received the Free Product Recovery Report for the above-referenced site. The report has been reviewed and will remain in the UST Section’s files. Based on the levels of free product reported, less than 18th inches in each well,
the free product recovery system should be de-activated at this time. The next groundwater sampling event should be conducted in May 2023, with the report received by this office no later than June30, 2023. Regarding the Corrective Action Feasibility Study, the Innovative Technology Committee has recently approved the use of Cool-Ox, meaning that the original CAFS is now acceptable. This information has been relayed to your consultant. You must determine which proposed injectant you plan to use on this site and notify this office no later than March 15,
