ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
1) This facility consists of one 6,000-gallon, two 8,000-gallon, and one 10,000-gallon steel tanks for the
storage of domestic septage including portable toilet waste and grease trap pumpings. The 10,000-gallon
tank is currently not in use and has been positioned upright as photographed.
2) 15A NCAC 13B .0838(b): The access road is well maintained.
3) NCAC 13B .0838(c): The tanks which are in use appear to be structurally sound. The 10,000-gallon tank,
which is not in use, does have some holes. As discussed during the inspection, that tank cannot be put back
into service before the holes are repaired.
4) 15A NCAC 13B .0838(e)(2) & 15A NCAC 13B .0838(g): No vectors or objectionable odors were noted at
the time of inspection.
5) 15A NCAC 13B .0838(i): Some vegetation was noted within five (5) feet of the tanks and must be
removed and maintained.
6) 15A NCAC 13B .0838(k): Appropriate signage (No Trespassing sign) is posted for the site.
7) 15A NCAC 13B .0838(m): Setback requirements appear to have been met.
