ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: 01 – This facility has been monitored during the inspections for 7002-CDLF-1996 but no report put into the database since 2017.
02 – Facilities are located inside locking gate and fencing. 03 – Roads are constructed of All Weather materials. Pavement and gravel. Maintained well. 04 – Cell’s #1 & 2 (picture won’t download used sceenshot) were inspected during this inspection.

05 – Both sites have a good vegetative cover.

The item(s) listed above were observed by Section staff and require action on behalf of the facility in order to come into or maintain compliance with the Statutes, Rules, and/or other regulatory requirements applicable to this facility. Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules.

06 – Permanent Edge of Waste Markers are present on both cells. 07 – All wells were locked and tagged with information.
08 – No leachate breakouts noted on either cell. Cell 1 had one area that was wet on the North East corner. Monitor this area to ensure that the wet area is only rainwater.
09 – Monitoring records were reviewed during the February 23, 2023 inspection for 7002-CDLF-1996.

10 – Cell 1 still has a golf driving range and cell 2 still has frisbee golf.
11 – Cells are maintained good. May need to remove a few trees on cell 2. 12 – Side Slopes appear to meet the 3:1 requirement. 13 – Digital pictures were taken during this inspection with several attached to this report. 14 – Safety First is Important for ALL.
