Event Description:
Dunn Emergency Services was dispatched in reference to a vehicle fire. Upon arrival, same was a box truck
hauling bread for a business. DES IC reports approximately 25-30 gallons of diesel fuel leaked from the
vehicle's tanks due to the vehicle fire/suppression efforts and diesel was isolated to the asphalt and construction
zone of the I95 widening project. NCDOT and contractor on scene to conduct cleanup efforts. No storm drains
affected and no injuries from the hazmat release.
