Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules. Pagel of 3 FACILITY COMPLIANCE INSPECTION REPORT Division of Waste Management Solid Waste Section ADDITIONAL COMMENTS 1) The Septage Land Application Site consists of a 45-acre site which shall maintain a cropping system of rye/ryegrass and sorghum/sudan and is divided into three fields known as Field 1 (13.8 acres), Field 2 (18.6 acres), and Field 3 (12.6 acres) 2) The site is permitted for land application of domestic septage and grease trap pumpings. 3) The site has accessible all-weather roads to the septage land application fields covered under the permit. 4) Appropriate signage was displayed at the entrance to the fields. The fields are also protected by a metal gate. 5) All fields had disposal area boundaries that were delineated with permanent markers which corresponded to the site map. 6) Current set-back/buffer requirements appear to have been met. 7) No objectionable odors were observed. 8) Fields 1 and 3 had been reseeded just prior to the inspection. Quality of crop on field 2 was good.
