Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules. Page 1 of 2 NORTH CARnLINAD_E Q�� OepaNnent of Environmental 0uali� ADDITIONAL COMMENTS FACILITY COMPLIANCE INSPECTION REPORT Division of Waste Management Solid Waste Section 1) The Septage Land Application Site consists of 65.66 acres which is divided into Field 1 (9.26 acres), Field 2 (21.08 acres), Field 3 (9.99 acres), Field 4 (9.22 acres), and Field 5 (16.11 acres). The site is permitted for land application of domestic septage, portable toilet waste, and grease septage. 2) Field 1 is currently not in use. The permit stipulates that Field 1 shall not be used for land application until the paddocks have been removed and a pre -operational inspection has been performed and approved by the Division. Additionally, at the time of inspection none of the fields were in use due to ongoing maintenance. Mr. Dellinger stated that Fields 2-5 would be in use again by next spring. 3) Required signage was present at the entrance to the site, complying with 15A NCAC 13B .0842(a)(2). 4) All weather roads are maintained per 15A NCAC 13B .0842(a)(3). 5) Boundary markers were present as required per 15A NCAC 13B .0842(a)(10). 6) Crop quality was patchy to moderate, but was difficult to assess due to unusually heavy rains. 7) Fields 1, 2, 4, and 5 are planted in fescue and matua grass.
