1) This facility consists of two above ground steel tanks with capacities of 6,000 gallons and 9,000 gallons.
The tanks are permitted for the storage of domestic and grease septage.
2) At the time of inspection, inspectors could not locate a "No Trespassing" sign at tank. Following the
inspection, Mr. Miller ensured that there was a visible No Trespassing sign on site and sent a photo to
Mr. Cobb.
3) Access road to tank in good shape and meets the requirement of Rule 15A NCAC 13B .0838(b).
4) Tank accessible for inspection. There was an area of at least 5 ft around the tank to allow for inspection.
This meets the requirement of Rule 15A NCAC 13B .0838(i).
5) No holes or cracks observed which may allow the escape of septage out of the tanks as per Rule 15A
NCAC 13B .0838(c). No leaks noticed.
6) Septage appears to be transferred to and from the tanks in a manner that prevents leaks or spills of
septage onto the tank or ground as per 15A NCAC 13B .0838(j).
7) No vector or odor issues noticed as covered within Rules 15A NCAC 13B .0838(e)(2) and .0838(g).
