Pursuant to your request, I attach the Respess Chip Yard site with location markings as you requested. Note that this is
my rough sketch.
Please note that the chip pile is on a large concrete pad left from a previous lumber mill site, and that the operators are
only using a limited part of the 2 acres permitted. It addition, the nearby resident is at least 1175 feet from the
permitted 2 acre site (almost % mile). The site has gated access and has posted "No Trespassing" signs on the
intervening former lumber mill property.
We are working on the zoning approval for the site. Current local on -site zoning is a RA20 zone, which permits Logging
and Wood, Raw Materials as an allowable special use. We do not have the active Special Use Zoning Permit for the Chip
Yard operation, but we are in the process of applying for the Special Use Permit. Our application must be completed
with professional drawings by January 15, 2023, for approval by the local Board of Adjustments in February, 2023. We
will keep you informed of the process.
The adjoining properties on either side of the site are active industrial -zoned properties.
My client is using the site for temporary storage of wood chips in transit to be used as industrial fuel.

Please see email below. Our Section needs this map, as well as the zoning letter, as soon as possible in order to confirm
compliance with the state rules, and to respond to complaints from a nearby resident. The two acre (or less) boundaries
of the yard waste/wood waste processing and storage area should be shown on a map. It doesn't have to be on the
same map you submitted before, it can be marked on a different map.
The location of this area on the map is needed to show that the site is in compliance with setbacks to property lines,
floodplains, streams, etc. Please send the map and zoning letter to me by email, or by mail at the mailing address
below, as soon as possible.
